2004 Lexus GX 470
New member and have a few questions...
1) Rough, jarring, bottoming out almost and have have rear suspension airbags replaced at Lexus dealer and still feels like bad shocks...has anyone else had this?
2) Front seats, Tan Leather, are worn out. Is there a way to replace them without breaking the bank? Don't want seat covers but I'd like it to look new. Any places to buy new or slightly used?
We have 164k miles and love our Lexus. My daughter is driving it now.
Thank you for your help.

Your rear shocks are likely toast. At around $500 or more apiece for the factory rear ones, (unless you really do care about the sport/comfort adjustability) you can throw a set of 4runner ones on there which will fit without any problems. The automatic height adjustment on the rear air springs will still work fine without the factory shocks.
As far as the seats go, I know a friend who had her seat bottoms on her RX300 replaced for a reasonable price... Not sure if it was an upholstery shop that did it, or a new leather skin that requires the removal of the old one, but i can run it by her next time i see her.
