I tired to start GX and the key would not turn at all , It was like it was locked , then after a while I was able to unlocked all doors then it work fine , I was able to start GX and it was fine , and now it;s doing the same thing , so I did try to reset the locks , put the key in the ignition and then on and press the key to unlock , so I took my other set of key , and tired to unlock the doors to reset but nothing happened when I pressed the unlock on the key pad .
then after I did that I shut it down and then it locked by it's self without pressing the key pad . so I then just unlocked with key pad and then everything was fine.

Any idea what is happening ?

Next time the ignition feels locked try and move the steering wheel while you try and turn the key If your wheels are turned the last time you used the truck there may be prsssure on the lock mechanism .This sometimes does happen
I cant speak about the door lock and unlock. I know if yore truck is locked and you are outside of it and you press unlock
if you dont open a door within a certain amount of time the doors will self lock on there own. Read your manual reff this function

I'll remember to move the steering wheel , I guess my question also is why did the key pad not blink the lights or open the doors , then after I got inside it worked then after I parked in garage the key pad wouldn't work , I unlocked with keypad then it locked itself , unlit I opened the doors , going to have new batteries put in the key pads , hoping nothing serious , but heck the GX is 2004 yet only 33,000 org miles one owner .
