So yesterday I got the "fast flashing" turn signal. Looked at the reflection in the truck in front of me and, yup, drivers side orange daytime running light/turn signal is out

I have always been in the belief if you replace one, replace both.

Before I head to parts store to buy incandescent replacement, I am thinking LED. But want a "plug and play" bulb.

I have re-read the LED string and didn't find any info for this particular bulb and also a search.

Does anyone have info and/or photos on this bulb replacement with LED?

I know this will get differing opinions, but I used techstream and cut mine off.

So easy to replace, have only done it 3t times in 11 years. Takes a few minutes. So I stick with the long life amber bulbs.

Lesson learned. Read forum first instead of manual.

Manual states to replace with wedge bulb (4157NAK). After running back and forth to local parts store got them swapped in a few minutes.

But before I read a string here, started to go through top and removed battery.

Just had to reset everything after reconnecting battery. Interesting thing, it did take a few minutes for the new lights to start working in DRL mode. No issues now other than power windows resetting. Can't open or close other 3 windows from drivers door. They do work from respective doors though.

Will wait and see if they reset.
