This question involves a 2004 GX470 with factory tow package:

I recently went on a camping trip towing my trailer and the next day my turn signals do not work at all. My first inclination was a fuse, but the fuse is fine, and it is a single fuse for turn and hazard. It seems that the flasher unit has gone out, because the hazards lights still work on all four corners. When I flip the turn signal there is no response - no clicking or indicator light in dash. Is there a separate unit for turn signals and hazard lights? Thanks in advance.

Does your truck have factory tow package with factory wiring. If not and its aftermarket you may have an issue with that harness . The flashers and relays used on factory set ups are heavier duty because of the additional load from the trailer lights.

There may also be another fuse or replaceable relay . Did you look in owners manual for fuse placements

The tow package is factory. I looked in the manual for fuse specs and the only one that has to do with signals I have checked. There is no real specifications in the he manual about the tow package however. I will be looking into the "towing" fuse when I have a moment. I will also try to hook the trailer up again to see if the blinkers work then. They did on the way home.
