Default Tire size comparison tool

Wolfram Alpha now knows about tires, and how to compare sizes, in case anyone wants to do a Plus-1 size:

FYI - Apple Siri uses them for any queries involving calculations.

Thats a score, I just picked up a GX470 and it needs tires. I want to go with a little taller than stock.

Here's another site - check it out, it shows offsets, backspacing, etc and still has table with side by side comparison: http://rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

I found that link from a post by 470reasons last week (THX) and used it when purchasing tires a few days ago. I'm going from stock 265/65/17 to 18" wheels (need to pick them up today). Direct fit would be 265/60/18 but I found a good deal on a slightly larger size and am trying 265/65/18. Total diameter is 1" bigger - 30.6 to 31.5". I hope they fit with no rubbing, but if not ... guess I will need a lift

btw: if you know anyone wanting stock rims (good condition) & Michelin tires, mine will be up for sale (PM me).
