Default check out my painted headlights

I just finished the project and I am happy with the results. It's a lot of work but worth it. I have a set of sport edition headlights that I can use to make a new kit for someone else. Let me know if anyone is interested. The ones I made are painted with flat black plastidip with a metalizer to create a glimmer and charcoal great hue over top.

Looks Good! I guess this mod wouldn't affect the light output???

Thanks, i just looked at it in the dark, I haven't noticed any difference in light output. The bulb part sticks out farther than the grid looking chrome part. I didn't really see much reflective value to that part before.

should i sell my sport edition lights as is, oem, or should I offer to paint the insides and sell it as a kit like mine? do you think there is any value or interest in that?

it's by plastidip and it creates somewhat of a sparkle in the sun. I can apply it on top of any color and can make it more metallic with more coats.

Stock projectors? If you are going to go to the trouble of opening up the headlights, you might as well do a retrofit right?

Looks good though, nice work! like the clear lens!

yes stock projectors. I thought about upgrading the lights but I just wanted the project completed and didn't want to do extra wiring, etc.

GreggyG:
Do you have any pics that were taken during the mod with the light housings apart?
