Default Want a 2nd set of rims, don't want to pay $2k

I've looked around online a bit but can't seem to find info on if any other rims would fit our GX470's. I am planning on getting dedicated winter tires but would prefer not to spend a pile on new rims. Any thoughts/ideas? I would even take used rims and save the $ for good tires. Thanks

broaden your search to 4runner and FJ cruiser rims, and you will end up spending a fraction of what used OE Lexus wheels go for...

Pretty much any 6-lug Toyota wheel will fit IE: GX460, Tundra, Sequoia, FJ, 4Runner etc.

I picked up five FJ rims in great shape from a guy on Kijiji for $50 each.
He included the lug nuts, with lock nut and adapter, and the center caps! Just need to find some TPMS and some good all-seasons!

My fuzzy recollection:
17x7.5
ET25 or "+25mm" offset

Gen5 4runner rims are the same

Sequoia 6 bolt rims are ET15?

FJ Cruiser rims are ET10?

All will work great. IMHO the GX looks nice with an ET15 or ET10 wheel on it -- gives a bit wider track.

Tip: go visit the service/parts departments at your local Lexus and Toyota dealers and ask if they have any "take off" wheels (wheels they've taken off of new cars prior to delivery because new owner wanted custom wheels). I've bought a bunch of wheels this way. Most recently I found a set of brand new GX460 18" wheels for my GX for ~1200.

I'm actually looking forward on buying a set of the TRD pro rims, me and my friend had an arrangement when he buys his 4runner trd pro I'll buy his rims and he'll get his aftermarket rims that he always wanted. for me this is the most tasteful OEM rims toyota made and can't wait.

Are they 16s or 17s? If 16s, then there may be some bad news

The new 4Runner TRD PRO wheels are 17". Tundra got the 18" and the Taco got the 16".

Are you interested in an extra set original GX470 rims for your "spare set?" I just picked up a GX and am considering some new wheels and would be selling mine. PM if interested.
