Rear Door

NOt as bad as I thought
I really was bummed about this when I heard about it...but so far it hasn't been as much of a problem as I had anticipated.
I live in NYC and curb park all the time, yet the rear door has not prevented me from anything yet. I still think it is "goofy" but its more of a non-issue than I had anticipated.
On Long Island where I have a house with a garage, the biggest "issue" is to remember to park on the right side so as to have easier access. The door opens all the way with the garage door closed - although I have to park the thing all the way to the front. I could probably benefit from the "laser" parking device cause I never know where the front or the rear actually is relative to the walls.
Again...not a big deal

Thanks for the input, Knicksfan. I was wondering if the GX designers would have a change of heart on the rear door, if the dealers got enough flack from potential buyers (like me). Then, I thought about the Toyota Rav4, which has the same door opening, and that hasn't changed from day one, which was several years ago.
I'll get out of the Mileage question now. Thanks.
