+1 for the 3M kit. I did mine last weekend when I changed my brakes. Took about an hour, but most of the yellow haze and residue is gone. Then I finished it up with Meguiars #10 and #17. Came out nicely.

Used the 3M kit on mine and the wife's RX330 over the weekend-finished them off with Meguiar's. That did the trick and they look like new!

I have a Meguiar's G3000 kit, which is wet sand, polish, and seal. I've used on many cars, many many times. Works good. The sand paper provided is gone now, so I just picked up sheets of the 1000 and 3000 grit sand paper, cut into squares, and that will last me a long time. Here's are results I've had with my sister's Camry.

I use a medium buffing compound on my patrol car lights and they clean up perfectly. I've never used it on my Lexus, but I have had no adverse affects on the patrol car. I'd post pictures if it wasn't such a pain of the difference.

If you ever go to sams try one with an auto center they will do the Sand polish and clear for a very good price and it only takes a bit while you shop etc.. Have done my own but for family and friends it's very convenient service.
