Default planning to buy a bull bar, need advice

Want to add some front-end protection and style on my '05 GX470, and I saw the Aries bull bar at http://************.com. It seems to fit the bill and the price fits my budget. Does anyone have the Aries sport bar? Posting some pics would be appreciated. I wanted to find out what my ride would look like with that kind of bull bar. I know some guys here have the Westin but I'm not a fan of the included steel skid plate. Thanks a lot for any help.

They want $ 226.00 for it. It says Toyota Tacoma are you sure it will fit 2005 gx470?

Have you checked out flebay

I doubt you'll get front end protection. If anything you'll get more front end damage. If you want protection get a aftermarket steel / aluminum bumper.

Agreed on this point, I've always heard them referred to as "damage multipliers", lol.

Doesn't get any better than Southern Style Speed's front bumper replacement.

Here's the exact link from the site - http://************.com/Aries_Sport_Bar.51164.0#lexus. So I guess it will fit. Will try to check out ebay later for other options. Thanks for the reply.

I have the Westin bull bar on my 06 GX470. Love the look of it and it installs extremely easy. Just bolts on. Oddly enough, I went with the Westin because I like the look of the skid plate.

You don't need a "bull bar" for that....just a little creativity.
