Default question about timing belt tensioner

hi guys,do i need special tool to remove and to install back the timing belt tensioner?

I believe the tensioner is compressed and then a pin is inserted that has a round pulling loop on it. This allows for the installation with tensioner having pre-loaded tension on it once its in place and belt is in place and lined up you pull on the ring and the pre loaded tension is released to apply the pressure to the timing belt. I believe the new tensioner comes all ready with the pin in place. When taking it apart its pre load will be released once you start removing parts..
