Brake Squeal on new rotors/pads. Lets talk!
Gents -
Last October I replaced the front and rear rotors and pads.
The pads were Wagner Thermoquiet, and the rotors were Bosch Quiet Cast.
Everything felt great, until about 2 months after, when they began to squeal when at low speeds. To this day they squeal when at low speeds. I had one of my service techs do the pads/rotor replacement for me. We bought new shims, lubed the heck out of the pads to avoid this.
So today I called Kragen/Orielly Auto, they said I can bring in the current pads & rotors and warranty them for new parts. However they told me with Wagner Thermoquiets you DO NOT lube them. Apparently they have an anti-squeal on them already?
What do you guys think?

I also installed high quality non-OEM ceramic pads for the front. They did not require separate shims like the Toyota pads, nor do they require greasing. So far, they work great. No noise, no dust and stop great.

Bosch replaced both my front and rear rotors with new ones today, and I had the shop replace my Wagner Thermoquiets with Import Direct OEM replacement Ceramics.
So far, 90 miles later, no noise or squeal! YAYA!
