This is my first post to cl. I have been a long time lurker. I just recently purchased a 2004 gx and have the same issue with a flashing tpms light. Unfortunately a flashing light is informing you of a bad sensor not air pressure. The light will be on solid not flashing if it was just a pressure issue. Could just be a battery issue or one or more of the sensors may need replacing.

Our GX is a black on tan fully loaded with Nav,DVD etc. It currently has just over 60,0000 miles. (113,000 kms) to be precise. We are in Canada and paid $18,500.00.

Seriously you are getting 23 mpg? 23 km (about 14.4 mpg) sounds more in line with most people get.

It averages around 19 mpg and I am able to get 23 + mpg on the highway. This is according to the dream meter on the dash. Who knows how accurate it is? I have not done my own calcations yet.

Ive tested said dream meter. After filling up I reset the MPG meter and trip meter, drove till it was empty, filled up and did the math by hand and compared to what the car's MPG reading was. It was ~10% over what i got by hand. Tested it on a few different occasions, randomly and always get in the ball park of 10%.

19 is pretty good, we recently moved from congested suburbs of Dallas to a much more open and less congested suburb of Austin and have noticed a decent increase in overall mpg as a result of MUCH less stop and go "city" driving.

The prices mentioned sound right for my Boston area. The truck Definetly keeps its value. I bought my 04 silver on gray with ML/Nav and 60k miles 4 years ago for $21.5k. It now has 103k miles(and still needs the TB/waterpump job but is worth Appx. $15k still. If this was an 04 Caddy or Lincoln it would be worth nothing.

Wow what a great deal you got 4 years ago! There is an 04 with 59K listed on eBay selling for $21K (just reduced from $22.5K), and another 04 with 75K selling for $19.9K. These trucks do keep their value well.
