Default LED DRL and fog lamps

I want to replace the DRL/turn signal bulbs with switchback LED types in my 2006 GX. So I bought
these these
from jdmtoy. Has anyone here used these bulbs? Do these require a resistor across to prevent hyperflash or other issues? If yes, what resistor (spec) is used?

I also bought
these these
fog lamps from the same outfit. For some reason, the lamps test out ok when connected directly to the battery source, however do not work when put into the fog lamp assembly I tried both lamps, unsuccessfully. The halogen lamp works Any clue on what I could be doing wrong?

Thanks for any help.

Update: The switchback bulb did not work as it is 1157 (double filament/two connectors) type and the current bulb is 1156 (single filament/one connector) type.

How does the current bulb double up as a DRL/turn signal? Can someone help me with the circuit/wiring so I can figure out a workaround. I want to get away from the "yellow" look of the DRL but would want to keep the DRL. Is there some other solution.

Related to fog light - had to reverse the connection to make it work. However, the light is not bright enough. Is there a LED H3 bulb that matches the brightness of a 55W halogen?

Cheers.

You need this, which works fine as drl and turn light - but they need resistor or they will fast blink.

Im interested to know ur findings about the fog light.

Wow! Thank you. Based on the description, this should work. I have a set of 50 ohm resistors which should prevent hyperflash. I will order once they are in stock.

Also, will keep you posted on what I do with the fogs....at present, I am considering either a 7.5W "plasma LED" or a HID bulb. Let's see.

Cheers.
