Step Bumber Hitch for GX (bike rack) - Will this work?
Hello Gurus,
I have a 2007 GX 470. I need to install a bike rack and need a low duty hitch receiver. I do not want to buy one of those tubular hitch receivers as I don't like the look.
Found this step bumper receiver on eBay for $30 with shipping. Do you think this will work?
Attached Picture has all the dimensions. I am hoping it can attach to the holes under the center of the car's body right before the rear bumper

One other consideration is what will happen when you sell the car or someone borrows it? You know that the receiver is "weak" and just for a bike rack, but others may not know that. The results could be pretty ugly. I would just put on the proper receiver and not have the worries. My $0.02...
