I have come across some threads saying that if we switch our front turning signal bulbs we need resistors, some say we don't. So yes or no? I have come across these bulbs that I wanna get from ebay

No, you don't. These LED bulds are designed for 12V PnP. They already have resistors on the back of the LED arrays.

By doing a simple mod on the flasher by adding a trimpot, it does wonders and you can LED to every side of GX wherever you want without thinking about any resister.
Here is what I did
Used a Burn Trimpot
Cost - $3
Time - 3 hours
Tools - Basic ones and a Fine Taper Saw file
Once completed all you have to do is turn the screw on the trimpot to the required resistance voltage and you wiull have you leds working and also your normal ones also.
The images are purely done as a passion to my GX.
Requirement - Litlle bit of Soldering knowledge to circuits boards of the Flasher Unit.
You can also purchase a new Flasher if you need to do as an additional standby kept for the original.
The images attached are buildup to the final finish.

sorry to bring this thread back up, will those solder points work on original OEM flasher 12pin (81980-50030) or only on 8 pin(81980-50030) version?
