Default Just recently bought a 60K Miles 06 GX

Hey just got a 06 almost mint condition GX for 25K last week. So far so good and im really loving it. I plan to post pictures here later on. just wanted to formally introduce myself to the family and get some advises from the vets! the one thing i've noticed thats a little discomforting is my Gas mileage being a little low. I must be averaging about 14.5-14.7 but i guess thats within the limits. im thinking about getting the XM radio at some point and possibly doing the lockpick hack as well. i'm just too nervous to consider taking the dash out installing it. Anyways, thanks for reading my post. will post pics later on

nice, can't wait to see the pics... yeah the radio mods can be problematic if you rush through it... ie you can crack the tabs on the wood panels and other plastic clips so make sure you read through the posts re: double din install etc... so much info already posted... let's see them pics

Congrats! Super low miles. Pics or it didn't happen.

As for mpg, are you primarily driving hwy or city? You measuring it from the optimistic trip computer or yourself at the pump? Regardless, our GX mpg isn't ever going to be impressive and does another 1-2mpg really mean much $ over the course of a year?! I figure it isn't.

Congrats on your new GX.

Dont worry about removing the wood grain pieces, theyre not as fragile as people make them out to be. Just pop the bottom part off and work your way up to the top and pull straight out towards you, nothing to it!

About your MPG is it city / highway or both. 14mpg - 16mpg sounds about right from what Ive read people are getting with mixed city / highway driving. Im getting 11mpg all city driving but Im having my air / fuel sensors replaced this week which should fix that problem.
