I just bought a 03 gx470 and it needs some rims. I like the look of the 18" 08 4runner limited rims in hyper silver. What size tire should I get with those rims I would like something a little wider than stock. I have found the rims at Sparks toyota for a good price do I need to order the center caps and lug nuts also for it to look good. can I make the lexus center caps work. They require a vin # to get the part # for the rims and center caps and lug nuts is that normal.

I run 285/60 on 18x8 wheels which also feature a more aggressive offset with zero rubbing. I believe if you try to run these on the 7.5" 4R wheels that sit in-board, you'll rub so I'd stick to going with stock tire widths else get wheel adapters.

I'm not even sure if you can run 285s on 7.5" wheels?

I was thinking of running 175/65/18 will that fit a stock gx470 with the 18" 4runner rims

Start up the car, have someone turn it lock to lock, and see how close you are to rubbing with the stock 265's. You don't have much room to play.
