my 08 i put two dvd's full of mp3 and neither played.

THe next thing i put a video dvd and noticed the audio plays. the picture button is never lit even after i put my foot on the brakes. how do i get the thing to finally allow video playback?

I wish there was a way to hook up an divx player and have video come through the screen and have audio through the mark lev. audio system.

i thought about buying the hack to bypass dvd and nav but now i'm just not sure.

If you want video on the front screen the parking brake has to be pulled up. I have not played with piping in audio/video from the inputs in the rear seat.

Unfortunately for the GX 470 model, we do not have an audio/video input interface. Many Lexus owners seemed to be happy with Vaistech products for video/audio input.
