have anyone install the LED DRL (european style like audi and benz) for gx470 ? i'm thinking doing it ? any input ?

I was trying to do a search for you, but couldn't find it. Someone installed the Mercedes led's in the space/ opening below the headlights in the front bumper. It is in the opening where there is a black plastic grill. I believe they may have bought them from Xenon Depot. Here is a link

looks like crap unless it's part of some body kit made by a reputable vendor like wald int'l. also can't stand it when it's not a bright white LED light. so many barney lights out there it's rather embarrassing imho.

You dont need to add external DRLs as that will alway look crap , But you can mod the existing DRLhalogen bulb currently used to LED type by modding the Flasher unit which is below the Driver Side fuse box. All you need is the add a potentiometer flow control by turning the screw on the potentiometer to regulare the voltage ) and voila you have LEDs bulbs to your DRL and your Turn Light Bulbs

man777, not sure i understand your post but do you mean that i can replace the current amber halogen turn/drl buld with the led turn/drl buld ?
