Default New and Proud Owner of 2004 GX470 Blizzard Pearl!

Just closed a deal on an 04 GX 470 Blizzard Pearl 53k mikes. All service were done at Lexus dealership. Got this one from an individual. Excellent condition inside out. Drive like a brand new car. So smooth and powerful as well. Paid $22.5k. Transaction took about 1 hour and drove home with my babe lex. Just rid of my 03 BMW 745i Sport Package and couldn't be happier. Love the ride and I don't know why I didn't get this SUV earlier. I don't think I ever go back to drive a sedan again! Just want to share some pics with you fellas lexus.

Yeah, I agree totally. I can't believe this car doesn't have HID headlamps. Other than that, I'm very happy with the car.

Congradulations! Looks really clean, but then again, not much snow in Houston. It looks like it was driven off the showroom floor.

Keep the vinyl on the dash conditioned. Some older models have experienced cracking. Maybe a sun shield to put in the front window, under extreme heat and sun. We have salt, wheel pitting, and other things to deal with in Ohio.

Not sure about the 2004 model, but the 08 has the "open all the windows and sunroof feature. You can do it with the key, or by pushing the unlock button on the key fob. You push it once, then again and hold the unlock button, and all of the windows roll down and the sun roof opens. Sometimes I have to press it three times and hold the button. Great feature when you are approaching your car on a hot day in Houston. I believe the key is turn it to the right and hold it, for the same feature. Someone can correct me if I have the key thing wrong.

Thanks for the tips. I guess I'm luck not having any cracks on the dashboard since the previous owner always kept his car in the garage. I haven't try the key functions yet but will give it a try. I'm trying to program the homelink buttons for my garage. Didn't have any success yet. It was easy to do on my SC430. Thanks for the complement.

I couldn't program the garage door openers with the remotes. Depending on the type of opener, you remove the plastic cover, that covers the light bulb. There should be a sending button on the opener. A red light will flash about 30 seconds, when you push the button. This is sending the code. Go in your car quickly and push 1, 2, or 3 for a couple of seconds and release, pushing it again. After about 30 seconds, you may have to push the send button on the door opener again. It took about 2 trys. Park right outside the garage, not under the opener. When my started to link, I could see the red light next to the send button on the opener, stop flashing and go solid red. it was linked.

Keeping the car in the garage, works wonders. No UV, acid rain, etc.

Thanks for the complement. The Lexus GX470, indeed, is a great car! Probably the best so far.

Congratulations on your purchase!
i might be a part of the minority who prefers the look of the GX470 vs the GX460.
your "baby" seems to be well kept from the previous owner.
one suggestion though, replace the floor mats.

Congrats and welcome to the GX club!
Good to see another pearl white rig here! =)

Btw, I wish I would have seen your listing for your '02 SC for just 10k earlier last year, I would have been happy to fly out and drive it back out here to So Cal.
