i went with aftermarket semi-gloss 18x8s because i'd end up painting the limited wheels anyways plus would need spacers and it'd just end up being a pain.
i'm loving the new look with 285/60 toyo open country tires. very aggressive, but rides buttery smooth. thx for the info

Hey, check the price NEW at a good online toyota parts dealer. I bought my T4R Limited wheels new because they were so cheap. Far cheaper than the 17" T4R wheels off of the T4R sport, for instance.
IIRC they were $200/ea. Couldn't pass that up, and I expect I would have paid close to that used. FWIW, our TPMS bolts right up. I love the wheels, get tons of compliments, even from the service guys down at the lexus dealer.

for me, i'd have to paint them black and add spacers v. an aftermarket wheel that's already black, doesn't need spacers + wider than the 7.5s which look too narrow.
i had them on my 4runner and enjoyed them, but decided to go with something else. $200 per for any factory wheel is a friggin' deal. nice work.

yea agreed, they're the best looking truck wheels toyota has made to date.

If you didn't buy your wheels yet look in the GX460\GX470 classifieds...I was talking to another member who was selling a set of 18 of GX460 wheels that he had poweder coated black. They look just as nice as the T4R 18s. He was pretty desparate to get rid of it...its been a month or two but check it out.

Sorry to resurrect this old thread - but I wanted to know what's the widest size tire I can put on these wheels on a stock height GX without rubbing. Would 285/60/18 work?
I'm considering buying exact wheels that are shown in the first post.

I would think they would run on full turns. The stock 265/60/18 bolt on perfectly with no rubbing. The T4R limited wheels in hyper silver look great. I would have to somehow fabricate the Lexus "L" on the center caps

I think the height should be OK - anything more it might rub somewhere. With 265 tires, the wheels may appear tucked in. I'd like a wider stance if possible. I think these wheels are +15 offset compared to +25 for ours which will spread them out a little bit.

Yeah I'd like to avoid rubbing. I'm not very mechanically inclined so may not be able to trim anything to make those work.
