Looking at used Lexus's. When did bluetooth start. Of course, could always replace the system, but just as soon get it with bluetooth if possible (in CA semi obligatory given cell phone laws).

I have same question and additional.

When you say "included upgraded navigation to generation 4", what does that mean? I am a neophyte on GX but I thought there were only two generations of the gx.

Also, starting in '05 did ALL GX have the Bluetooth, or just some with a certain option?

He's referring to just the NAV change.

The NAV in the GX had different versions...so the look and functionality is different from previous generations.

I haven't been able to find the answer to this - is BT standard on all 05+ or only if ordered?

2004 GX models got Backup cameras & KDSS option
2005 GX models got BLUETOOH and upgraded navi + Variable Valve Timing apx 35 more HP
2006 No changes
2007 GX got AUX plug, upgraded CD changer, navi system,
2008-2009 Sport tail lights, upgraded wood trim, redesigned front headrests & small things.
