Volant cold air intake installed on 2005 GX470
Here is a picture of my 2005 GX470 with my new Volant air box intake system. This is kinda like a K&N but supposed to be better.

just wanted to know if the lexus is louder then stock with the aftermarket air filters? looking to upgrade but want to maintain quietability......is that even a word?,LOL.

Well, what better day then halloween to bring this post back from the dead..
I was checking Volant's website and they dont seem to offer a kit for the gx 470 (anymore?). Did you have to use the 4.7L 4runner kit and modify it?

None of the CAI manufacturers offer a straight Replacement for GX. Your are wasting your time and money. It has always been the V8 Brother 4Runner who has the options. You just have to build one your GX. And that is what Stockstink did. Clean build.
