Default GX-470 LED Guide--

I saw this post at another area and thought it would be good under the 470 thread since the question comes up alot on which LED bulbs to use. So here is what you would need to upgrade the lights on your 04-09 GX470 to LED:

Front Parking Lights: Your vehicle uses a 194 bulb for the parking
lights meaning that you would need to purchase this
High Power 194 LED bulb. They are sold in pairs so you only need to
order one set.

Cargo & Dome light: Your vehicle uses a DE3175 bulb for this
application. You will need to get this
LED
Panels
to upgrade your map lights to LED. They are 1" x 1" in size and
feature 9 LED diodes per panel for maximum light output and spread. These
LED panels are sold individually so you will need to order 2.

License Plate, Door Courtesy Lights, & Step-rail bars: These
applications all use a 194 bulb meaning that you would need to get 194 LED
bulbs to upgrade all of them. In order to upgrade all of them, you would
need to order 5 pairs of the
194 LED bulbs.

I desparately want to increase the light power of my reverse/back-up lights. What solutions do you have or propose for this?

Thanks,
Bob

Hey Guys,

I posted this in another thread but figured it would work here as well:

Front Parking Lights: Your vehicle uses a 194 bulb for the parking lights meaning that you would need to purchase this High Power 194 LED bulb. They are sold in pairs so you only need to order one set.

Cargo & Dome light: Your vehicle uses a DE3175 bulb for this application. You will need to get this 3175 LED automotive Bulb to upgrade these lights to LED. They are sold individually so you will need to order 2.

Map Lights: I would suggest getting these universal LED Panels to upgrade your map lights to LED. They are 1" x 1" in size and feature 9 LED diodes per panel for maximum light output and spread. These LED panels are sold individually so you will need to order 2.

License Plate, Door Courtesy Lights, & Step-rail bars: These applications all use a 194 bulb meaning that you would need to get 194 LED bulbs to upgrade all of them. In order to upgrade all of them, you would need to order 5 pairs of the 194 LED bulbs.

Thanks to Alex350, we now have pictures of the ALL NEW High Power 194 LED bulb installed in an IS35) Parking Lights:

I am not surprised to hear/see how bright these Automotive LED bulbs are. Putco uses high power Nichia LED diodes for this 194 LED bulb and the bulbs are assembled right in the USA! Putco rates these bulbs to be 18X brighter than your stock 194 bulbs.

Enjoy!
