Another HID Installation Question
I received my XtremeHID yesterday and I tried to install the H11
4300k Xtreme Philips Xenon HID Conversion Kit in my 2007 Lexus GX470.
I ran into a problem when I took the OEM halogen bulb out and tried to
put in the new Phillips bulb from the kit. If you look at the top picture,
you will see the new Phillips bulb on the left and the OEM halogen on
the right. You will notice that the three tabs on the halogen that
line into the socket(see 2nd image) are on the outer circumference of
the base of the bulb. The 3 tabs on the Phillips bulb are completely
within the red circle. As a result, there is no way for me to securely
turn the bulb clock-wise and lock it into the existing housing.
Any ideas? Thanks.

To me it seems wrong that you hv removed the High Beam socket, which is a HB3 aka 9005 , So you need to remove the Low beam socket. which is a H11 and those does not have the extra lips as you are seeing on the HID phillips Xenon bulbs

Thanks Mann. Steve from Xenon Depot called me back today stating the same thing. I guess I am just a moron.
I will give it another go when it stops raining around here.
