I don't know -- I do all my own wrenching so I haven't asked (that dealer is in IL and I'm in FL, anyway). My local Lexus dealers in Jacksonville would charge about $2K to supply the parts and do the work, based upon what I see in their service pamphlets.

❏ Inspect the following:
___Active height control system (LX)

___Body

___Drive belt
___Engine coolant (see page 68)
Additional Maintenance Required If You Drive Primarily Under the Following Conditions
Driving off-road, on dirt roads or on dusty roads:
❏ Inspect engine air filter
❏ Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis
Driving while towing:
❏ Replace front differential oil (GX, LX)
❏ Replace rear differential oil (AWD/4WD only)
❏ Replace transfer case oil (RX AWD only)
❏ Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis
___Exhaust pipes and mountings
___Front differential oil (GX, LX)
___Rack and pinion assembly
___Rear differential oil (AWD/4WD only)
___Steering linkage and boots
___Transfer case oil (RX AWD only).
But regardless of the condition
The following is changed for me. 8Plugs/Timing Belt / Water Pump, All Engine/Trans oils & Filters replaced. My Front Wheel Axle Boot was replaced. Had the Wheels Balanced ( was bit off) All for 2750/- 1 year back, with a cheap smile , and the freebies ( coffee/ Warped 18th Century Donuts).
That's my understanding too...Just got a pre-owned 04' gx470 and I was quoted about $566 at Davenport here in Dallas...as far as timing belt/water pump et al, I was told it is recommended at 90K, but no later than 120K, which is what I did on my LS400, which was estimated at $1300...plus at 120K you have to do the spark plugs for another $300...

I also do my own wrenching, but when time comes, I am planning to leave the timing belt job to the dealer or my local (trusted) indie mechanic.
