Ok, Got a couple questions about the car.

1. What is the button in the center console that has a diagram of 4 wheels with and X on the drive shaft?
2. What is the RADC button on the right side of the lower dash?
3. How do I reset the Main Reqd light on the dash?
4. What wattage can the inverter handle?
5. Why can I not roll down either rear window from the driver's window controls? They roll down fine from the individual controls in the back.
6. How does the voice control work with the button on the steering wheel?
7. Is there a way to check the transmission fluid?

Sorry for all the question, The dealer did not have an owner's manual so he gave me one from a 2008 model, and it does not appear to be the same....anyone got a 2004 manual set they want to trade for a 2008?

Thanks

I'm new as well. just bought a silver 04 with 60k miles. As for some answers to your questions. The windows should work from the drivers control switch- sounds like a faulty drivers control switch. You can reset the maint. light by turning your key to on and cycling the odometer button to show total miles then turn key to off and press and hold odometer button while turning key back on. The other stuff i am curious about as well. I will keep an eye on this post for answers from the other more qualified lexus owners. Good Luck. By the way I bought my 04 GX with 60k miles for $22,500, not sure but think I did fairly well.

Thanks for the reply. My windows just started working for some reason. I got the Main light reset also. Waiting on an owner's manual I ordered to figure out the rest.
I paid $18,500 for mine with 90k miles.

Sometimes I hit the window lock button by accident and I won't be able to roll down the rear windows. You probably had the "lock" button on and accidently turned off while playing with all of those new buttons.

No, I tried the lock button several times, and it did not make any difference. Seemed to start working after my kids were in the back playing with the windows.....any way it works now, that's all that matters.

Great price. I love the color and chrome wheels, My other truck is a GMC Envoy almost the same color with chrome wheels. I am keeping my eyes open for a set of chrome wheels for the summer here in Boston(they would get ruined with our winters). Good luck.
