Default Timing Belt replacement Questions

For those of you mechanically inclined, I need to ask some questions. Here is what I plan for the 90k service....besides replacing oil, air filter, a/c filter, maybe differential fluids...
Change out the original serpentine belt
change timing belt , water pump
change the brake fluid, PS fluid

Anything I am missing ?? Lets not argue about the tranny fluid at this time....

ALSO, I plan to go to a mechanic with parts.....

What more do I need to order besides this?

Would anyone recommend another brand ? does anyone know what OEM parts are ? I know Koyo makes OEM radiator (that will need to be swapped since it has a very slow leak).

Lots of good Toyota/Lexus dealers will offer competitive prices on parts, and for no more than it amounts to, I'd stick with OE parts.

If you want to go ahead and replace more than the "bare essential" items, here's the list and contact info from Elmhurst Toyota. I've dealt with Curt and Elmhurst numerous times and they provide top notch service and know their stuff. They are a big supplier of parts to the Supra community.

Update....I found a local toyota dealership who will do a timing belt (4runner V8 special) for 399. I asked them how much extra for the water pump, and labor and parts was like 700. Now my concern is that when I asked what they replaced with the timing belt, it was belt only, none of the tensioners or pulleys....do those have to be done ? do those go bad? I am assuming these 3 items are those things

ALL tensioners associated WITH the timing belt should be changed(regardless of car make)...Keep in mind that the tensioners/rollers were installed at the SAME time with the timing belt in the factory...It saves on Labor Cost to do them at the same time.

I advise you to call this Toyota dealer, and ask them why they passed on the tensioners

I can do so spine, I could just order all the parts above and tell them to throw it all in...quick math shows 330 in parts associated with the timimg belt and water pump....so maybe I can ask him to just do the labor...

That is the best route.

BTW, do you mind driving down to OC??
There is this indy shop down HB/Midway City that does great Toyota/Lexus service with competitive pricing(highly recommended by a lot of OC CL members).

I can PM you their info...wouldn't hurt to shop, and possible save a couple $$$
