Default Toggle switch!!

I was cleaning my wifes GX470 and i found a toggle switch under the ash tray area. I have switched it back and forth and cant see what the hell its for. If there is no answer i will need to take the dash apart but trying not to do that.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Default Toggle Switch

We have a random switch on our 2007. It controls the FM modulator for the Lexus installed aftermarket DVD player. Switch up and it pumps the sound through the soundsystem. Switch down and it goes through the headphones only.

Could it be the same thing on yours?

I have a toggle switch on mine in the same place.

It's to bypass the speed sensor to allow me to program my Navigation System while moving.

When done, I need to toggle again or the Navi will go crazy.
