2005 GX470 Maitenance Schedule

Does anyone have a 2005 GX470 Service Schedule? I can't find mine anywhere and as just wondering what is to be done for the 45,000 miles service?

Thanks for the help! I really appreciate it! However, all I really need to know is if the tires are suppossed to be rotated at 45,000 miles as I am having trouble with the dealer I took it into.

When was the last time you rotated your tires? If you rotate your tires every 5k to 8k miles they should be good. I usually have it done every other oil change.

Tires should be rotated 2x's a year. I change my oil every 3 months and rotate the tires every other oil change.

Since Lexus bases their maintenance schedule every 6 months then every time you have your truck in you should have the tires rotated.

Simple answer YES tires are to be rotated at the 54 month 45,000 mile check up

Go to lexus owners website, and register. It will show recommended maintenance (and full manual) for your car.

Lexus does recommend tire rotation every 5K, so yes, it is recommended at 45K (I personally think it is an overkill, and don't do it every 5K).

Here's a more direct answer to the OP's question. I have the maitenance log for the 2009 GX here and I am pretty sure the schedule would be the same.

For 45,000 miles or 54 months:

Replace engine oil and filter, reset reminder light
Rotate tires
Clean air conditioner filter
Lubricate drive shaft, re-torque nuts and bolts
Visually inspect brake pads, calipers, and rotors
Road-test vehicle

Inspect a bunch of stuff:
Axle shaft boots
Ball joints, dust covers
Body
Brake lines and hoses
Engine coolant
Exhaust pipes and mountings
Front differential oil
Rack and pinion assembly
Rear differential oil
Steering linkage and boots
Transfer case oil

And additional maintenance if you drive off road or on dusty roads:
Inspect engine air filter
Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis

If you drive while towing:
Replace front differential oil
Replace rear differential oil
Replace transfer case oil
Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis
