Thinking of getting the Coastaletech's LOCKPICK 3 BASIC NAV UNBLOCK? Based on earlier postings here, it looks like a very easy install and something that can be done within minutes. Simple plug-in between the dvd player and its connector underneath the passenger seat.
Any feedback, experiences or comments are highly appreciated.

Malmon.....will that work on a 2009 GX?
And would that allow me on my BlueTooth to not have to stop to go from hands-free to talking on my phone? I HATE that you must stop the vehicle to leave hands-free when you want to talk in semi-private if you have people riding with you in the car.
What are other advantages of unlocking?

Not sure if it works on '09. it states "2006-2008 PRIUS
AND 2007-2008 RX, GX LEXUS NAV EQUIPPED SUV'S" on their website.

From what I gather, it doesn't affect bluetooth. It does however suspend the navigation software into a standstill, long enough to input an address while in motion. There is a pushpin icon that should appear on the left hand side of the screen after installing the lockpick. Allegedly, by pushing this pin for a second or two, it tricks the nav into thinking the car is parked.
I know what you mean about the factory bluetooth. When I have the kids in the backseat and I get an incoming call, they would give me the look of.."again?" In order for me to get calls and stop interrupting the audio of their favorite elmo dvd, oftentimes I use a bluetooth earpiece when I am the kidsmobile driver.
