I bought one a few months ago and I got it cut by a locksmith for $20. It was very lightweight, so I put some lead fishing weights inside and superglued them in place. It feels very good now and works great.

These are useless ( sorry for the comment) i had one on my LS and they dont last long.. the key where the fulcrum pivot where the key holds is strong but not enough to the boxy plastic and while over a period of time the rotation get the plastic cover weak and tends to crack. You will see it. Anyway the choice is yours, it is just my opinion.

well normally it is enhanced performance or improved cosmetics

so I ask again what is it about this item that would make
someone want it? chris does it work better? is it looks? is it
because it is smaller and thus fits in a pocket better? i dont get it?

Got one for my GS ... like others have posted it is flimsy made in China CRAP.

When my door actuator went out I was counting the days till the key portion was going to snap off of the pivot since I had to lock my driver's door with the actual key.
