You cleared the codes
You have likely accidentally cleared the codes on the garage door opener prior to programming your car's opener. You'll need to reprogram your keypad as well.

Most garage door openers have a maximum number (mine is 7) of codes that can be entered before the oldest codes start getting over written. You may have exceeded this number with the addition of your homelink. Sometimes just re-coding the dropped transmitter will work but if not you will have to check your garage door opener manual for the procedure to clear all devices and start over. Most often devices get dropped because they are #7 in the list not because you actually have 7 devices at the same time so just re-entering the non working unit works.
