Wheni I bought mine from Jerry Johnson at Midwat Toyota, he only asked for the mileage. He never requested documentation such as a bill of sale to verify it. The only thing he wanted was the VIN to verify the in service date to make sure it fell within the 4 year window. You can always say it has 49,500. I think they're more interested in that warranty sales stat than whethwer or not you're over by 500 miles. I'd call Jerry and get the waranty.

I found this thread on google and after calling several dealerships including my local dealership I can confirm that Jerry at Midwest had the best deal by far. My 2007 RX 400h has 43,000 miles on it and I was able to purchase an 8 year / 100,000 platinum, 0 deductible for $2485. That was $1200 less than the local Lexus dealer.

You can call both of them and get a quote. I just got my extended warranty from Jerry as it was about 150 bucks cheaper than Troy. Both of them are very professional and really good to work with.

I just had some warranty service done on my GX couple of weeks back. Total cost was around $1200 and every was covered by warranty. They even provided a new key case under warranty (my key case was broken at the screw). I had another service done last year for around $700 and I am happy about this warranty purchase.

I just purchased a 07 Gx470 and the mileage is 87,000 - does anyone know how I can get an extended warranty from Lexus? car was purchased in Ohio and will be registered in New York.

From my understanding and after speaking with both Troy and Jerry, once you surpass 4yrs/50k miles, the only type of Lexus warranty you can get becomes one local to your state at the point-of-sale. We just went through this last week and it costs more, but I don't trust the 3rd party warranties to necessarily always supply OEM Lexus or even Toyota parts if it came down to it.

I asked Troy about a extended warranty after my extended waranty and was told that lexus nor Toyota does not so how do I get a extended warranty after my extended warranty ran out .
2004 GX 470 with 31,000 miles on it bought new .

Just to add a more recent examlpe of Troy giving out a GREAT deal. Called him on my mother in law's Toyota Rav 4 and saved BOATLOADS of money. Some of these dealers should be ashamed.

I spoke to Troy few weeks backs regarding warranty on my LS. They still do sell warranty but within certain region.

He said that since I live in NJ, he could sell without me being present or mailed to local MA address. If have local address in MA for him to mail the warranty, that is another route.....
