Default uh-oh this can't be good...

My wife just called me saying lights came on while she was driving. ABC, VSC OFF, TRAC lights are on. Wow We just had it for little over a week and already having issues. Anyone have any idea what this code/light indicates? Dealer might charge too much for these kind of problems. It's a 04 GX470 with 58k miles on them.

thanks,
Tae

Sorry to hear that.Bring it back and complain as you have only had it a week. You should be covered for 3 months or 90 days,I beleive.

I don't recall specifically what all lights were on when something similar happened to mine, but it was attributed to the rear ride height sensors going bad...

If u only have it for a week, i would def. take it back. Don't wait any longer, it will only give them an excuse not to fix it.

If you bought it as is,you may be out of luck. Did you call the dealer that you purchased it from yet?I would see if they will make good on it being that you have only had it a week.

Take it to a Lexus dealer and find out what's wrong and go from there...

You might also look into a good extended warranty...

I agree with Craig, shop around for an extended warranty.Even minor things that go wrong can be expensive to fix. In my opinion its well worth it given all the electronics on the car .

Thats weird that an oxygen sensor caused the lights to come on. Do you mind sharing what it cost to fix that problem? It may give hoonami an idea of what he can expect to pay. By the way,do you know how many oxygen sensors are on the car?

Okay I went to Lexus Dealer and paid them $135 for diagnose it and found out Skid Control ECU needs to be replaced which cost little over $2000. Parts alone was pretty damn expensive($1600). Now called the used car dealer where I got my GX from to see if they had any extended warranty available, they are looking into it. Anyone have any experiences with NON-LEXUS warranty? anything good/bad? So as of now my ABS and VSC is not working.

Get a quote from Warranty Direct. You might have a waiting period
before you can claim this repair. I would wait and get an extended
warranty if your used car dealer won't help out with the repair costs...
