Default New wheels and Toyo's 285/60/17's

Finally got the snows off and put on Toyo proxies on FJ wheels.
FJ wheels are 10mm offset away from the hub so it gives it a wider stance plus the tires are 20 mm wider than OEM. This is a real nice set up and it feels great! Hugs the road better and the diameter is right on so no speedo error.

I had to get creative with the Lexus logo on the FJ hubcaps. I Ebayed some cheep Lexus hubcaps then I took off there logos and epoxied them onto the FJ hubcaps. Had to first take off the Toyoto logo from the FJ hubcap. The OEM Lexus hubcaps will not fit on the FJ wheel with the offset being different.

Enjoy

They won't rub even with OEM wheels. With FJ's they are 10mm further away from your hub. See full write below.

I really like how they feel

Looks 10X better.

The stock wheels on the GX are pretty ugly, IMO. Not to mention the finish is bubbling on all 4 of mine.

The FJ wheels are the same width as OEM just offset 10mm further away from the hub which gives a slightly wider stance.

The more I drive it the more I love this set up!

can you post a picture from the side? And how many miles are these proxies rated for? A friend of mine has them on a toyota tacoma and loves them. I think he has like 20,000 or 30,000 on them already and they still look pretty new.

I was thinking more of like putting your camera right at the front bumper and taking a shot from the front to the back. If that makes any sense. hahaha. But thanks for snapping that photo. I just wanted to see how much wider of a stance it makes.
