At some point, I should probably get rid of the Toyota emblems.
Those are nice! Ya I put the Lexus badge on my FJ wheels, was pretty easy and look factory.

Hi, nice setup you have on your Lexus !
would you recommend the tires ? for mix highway/offroad driving (265x70/17 Goodyear Duratracs)
could you post a picture where you can see the whole side of the vehicle front and rear wheels? just to get the perspective.

Thanks much!

If I had to do it over and stay with this size, I might have gone with C rated tires instead of E rated to save 6# on each corner and maybe get a bit better MPG since I don't carry heavy loads. They ride very good on the highway and around town in addition to being fantastic off road. To be honest, with the OME springs, Bilstein shocks and heavier/knobbier tires, it definitely drives more like a truck than before but I'm more of a truck than luxury person anyway.

Very, very nice!

Thank you for a quick reply. Definitely going with the same setup
i do not necessarily have to lift it to fit 265x70/17 Goodyear Duratracs, right? does it take long to take running boards off?
Thank you!

Default Attention 20" wheel owners...

How wide are your rims? I'm looking at 20x10 wheels with -18 offset. Thanks for your help

Default off road

My opinion is that the gx is a truck made for the off-road really, rims tires should add ruggedness rather than bling...I understand the big shiny rims but not my cup of tea.
here I refinished my factory rims to gun metal grey (Nearly black) and added a tire size up 265/70/17 with a 1" spacer. Front end was lifted 2" with Bilstein 5100's. Zero rubbing. Pretty sure the 285/70/17's would fit without rubbing with the bilstein 5100's installed.

What did you do to wheels to get them so clean? Did you sand blast them or sanded them down? How long did the process take to do all four wheels? I have a set of the original wheels that have some clear coat peeling and scuffs that I would not mind cleaning up and repainting. Was considering throwing some snow tires on them and using them in the winter.

I'm not a fan of the larger wheels on this truck but those rims look awesome.
