I'm also glad that the GX has been restrained when auto makers are trying to one-up each other on unnecessary features. Too much on the GX and you might as well get the LX.

I hope that they will incorperate the 6 speed automatic transmition to maybe help the fuel economy and also to have standard heated cooled seats, bi xenons, power 3rd row seats, power tail gate, the push start/stop, maybe some bigger rims size 18 or 19 maybe, and maybe the the self guided parallel parking that the ls460 has?
No power liftgate as it is retaining the current design on the tailgate. Yes on the power 3rd row, which will be fold-flat.
HID's are iffy, since the LX doesn't get them. Same for Park Guidance, which is more a show-off toy than anything practical. No one-upping the LX for less money.

I am planning to buy a new GX470 but I have several issues w/c I don't like.

I have a 2000 Toyota 4runner SR5 and I love it. But I want to have a GX too.
Lexus change these annoying features and I promise you that I will buy your newest GX model as soon as it is out in the market.

I'm for Ipod integration, power lift type tailgate, and "fold out of the way" 2nd row seats for that extra cargo room. LED lights will come with the next redesign (I hope). It is definately time to update the electronics too. Hard drive in CD playback as Infiniti does it would be nice.
Be sure the Ipod integration doesn't eat up glove box space as it is small now!!

Are we still wishing, or the GX460 leaks pretty much fully known? I think most have been addressed by Lexus in both the 470 later years, and the upcoming 460.
I just need a flat 3rd row

Ok Fellas so the GX460 is here. So let's sound off. Not sure if there's a thread for this already.
I drove and it did not come close to the GX470. For one it is too massive. However, I like the fact that it has some nice bells and whistles such as the power fold down third row and the push start. and not to mention the rear entertainment center DVD monitor in the headrest.
I dislike the back of it looks like some sort of toyota-landcruiser. Think goodness I was not waiting on getting one.

I was hoping that the 460 was going to continue to be utilitarian, and for me it's gone too far in the luxury direction -- electronic folding seats? Seriously?
I'll be shopping for a full size LC as my next rig, I think.
