Default New wheels for my GX (pics)

I just purchased these wheels for my GX from fellow Clux Lexus forum member "mm25fx35".

I always liked his wheels and when he sold his GX I purchased them from him.

Here are the before and after pics:

"new" wheels = 20" Helo Xplode wheels 285/50 Sumitomo's

The look may not be for everyone, but I love them.

Thanks Mike for all your help and shipping them all the way to Texas from New York.

I'm not usually a fan of big bling on SUVs but I gotta say that looks very nice IMO - definitely an improvement.

Actually, it looks good itsZep, not ghetto at all
(When you have the flower power design like the lexani's, then it's ghetto)

It brings out the blue meridian color

Looks great! I have yet to take the plunge in deciding whether to get a somewhat nicer stock rims or aftermarket ones.

Your GX color is great as well...that was one of my choices to get also but ended up with black.

WOW! those 20s really look great! nice job! how's the ride on the 50s? i am looking to do 20s too very soon but debating on putting 45s or 50s... i know 50s would give a better ride comfort... but i might sacrifice for a sportier look on 45s. thanks.

Thanks for the kind words.

I love the way they look and the ride is great at lower speeds.

But I am having some "shimmy/vibration" on the steering wheel when I hit about 60-70mph. I had Discount Tire mount/balance the wheels. I will be returning to Discount next week to see if they can isolate the cause of the steering wheel vibration at higher speeds. Anyone else experienced this problem when they added the bigger wheels/tires?
