How to delete the top speed limiter?
Morning...
I got a 2005 GX with sport package yesterday.
I want to know who or how can I delete the top speed limiter in that car.
The computer cut at 115mph I think and I think the car can reach 140mph at least.
Thanks for any info or help!!

For your own safety I highly recommend that you consider trading in your GX for a Cayenne if you anticipate the need to drive an SUV over 115mph. That said I'd be interested to know what the ungoverned top speed is - I'm guessing about 125.

I'm gonna agree with Gatorgreg, as the GX isn't that kind of SUV, but if you're set on it...
Try Supra tuners, i'm sure they'll be able to point you in the right direction.
Don't forget about proper speed rating on the tires for that kind of speed!

I know this is kinda crazy going at that kind of speed but i have before. I have an 04 and i was doing 120 and i don't think it stopped at 115. AFter i hit 120 i let off but it felt like it wanted to do more and no indication of it shutting off.

Not
I replaced my 05 GX470 with an 07 GX470 last weekend, and in the process I testdrove the Cayenne S. What a pile of crap.

That's pretty fast ....
I have done my share in a twin turbo 3000gt, and vision gets a whole lot narrower at crazy speeds. I guess that's why they make Z rated tires.
I think my truck's speedo and disco have something in common. They both do better in the 70's.
