While it doesn't look to bad, whenever I see any vehicle with black wheels, I always first think that the wheels are filthy from brake and road grime.

It looks really nice w/ the silver body. I feel that the tires are too low profile and doesn't fill the wheelwells nicely- but that's JMHO and these things look different in real life.

Very NICE!!! Good choice!! I was going to go with 265/40/22 but the Tire Rack recommended 275/45/22 which is 1.18inches to big!. It made my speedometer 3.9mph to slow I shouldn't just gone with my first choice.

I can't wait til I need new tire again, next set is 265/40 or 295/35 which ever available which is about the same diameter as the stock tire.

265/65/17=30.56"
265/40/22=30.34"
295/35/22=30.12"
275/45/22=31.74"

How do I drop it?? All GX come with rear air suspension that automatic raised. How do you by pass this? and what can I do about the front?? The GX is very High off the ground. I will never go off road on it so I wouldn't mine dropping it a few inches.

thanks

Oh it only has it for the rear? on the LX its front and rear and you can import this little computer from japan that will allow you to maniuplate the system the way you want it to ride.

with 265 or 275 you can still get away with stock performance when it comes to driving in the rain and snow, with the wider 305s you begin to loose wet/snow traction. Im not sure if Starbuck is going to use his setup in the winter but for the rain, as WA gets rain alot it makes sense for him to have a more narrow tire.

My Titanium '06 came with dealer installed black chrome lexus wheels. When I first saw it I wasn't sure if I liked them. They have since grown on me and I have had many compliments and questions on where I got them. Also, it makes mine unique in the area and contrasts nicely with the body color.

EXACTLY... too much rain in Seattle to go too wide... plus the Toyo S/T is mud+snow rated for travelling through the mountain passes we have here... I am pleased with them as they look really good and aggressive... definitely breaks necks around here and gives the rig a meaner look to run all of the Seattle 'soccer moms' off the road that run around in their stock GX's...
