Default engine oil drain plug

i was going to change my oil today on my 05 GX470 but it seems like i need a really long extension bar to reach to the drain plug because of the skid plate. what kind of tools do you use to reach to that drain plug or are you remove the skid plate instead? i really am having a hard time to remove that plug. thanks

yes, it has an oval door and the bolt is in there, but it's hard to get my socket in there to remove it.

Just use a 3/8" drive ratchet with a 6" long extension and a 14 mm 6 point socket.

Just wait until you change the oil filter! (there's another thread about that).
