Changing the Height of the GX
Hello...question about the KDSS....
The control in the car that changes the height of the car, is this only in a GX with KDSS or do all the GX's have this feature?
Also the choice of Comfort, Sport, etc.....is this only for the KDSS GX or for all GX's?
Thanks

Petsb,
The height adjustment is for the MAXIMUM of 4" from LOWEST setting to the HIGHEST setting and can only be used if the GX is moving below a certain speed limit or the vehicle is completely stopped. This is used mainly for LOADING and UNLOADING packages from the REAR of the vehicle. The GX will automatically go back to NORMAL driving position height once the vehicle is moving (I think past 25mph), you cannot keep the height LOW nor HIGH once the GX is in motion...
PARK your GX next time and try the height control. Watch via the rear and side view mirrors and you'll see the GX move slightly up and down! An ingenuis use for this is the RAISE and LOWER TOW hitch to the trailer, when coupled with the REAR VIEW camera it makes TOWING a BOAT or TRAILER a SNAP. (Someone from this board posted this FIX...)
The suspension mode changes how the GX is suppose to handle, stiffer suspension vs. lighter softer ride. It doesn't change the height of the GX during the ride either.
