Default How is this deal for a new 2005 GX "leftover":

IThe vehicle is new, not used and is a leftover. It is equipped as follows:
Nav/Levinson stereo, 3rd row seats (will never use & will pull out, but thats how they all come it seems), trailer ready and rear spoiler.
List: $52788
Invoice: $45584
Sell: $45584

The dealer will sell at invoice, in other words. What do you out there think given its already a year old, so to speak, even though its "new".

We did the same thing last year with our '04. Got it for a fraction over invoice. The other incentive was that we saved another couple thousand because the rear ac/3rd seat was included in the base sticker price from Lexus. On the '05's, Lexus started charging again. It helps that the '04's looked no different than the '05's.

Default Thanks, Steevr -- and a follow up or two-

Are you happy with the truck so far? Any regrets? Also, I see that you installed the xenondepot 4300K lights. Any issues with them? Anyone "Flashing" you? Any reactions by the dealer, etc??
I like what I see, but am still torn between keeping a car and getting a truck. I love taking the turns, but am tired of vehicles that don't carry anything, fear the snow and are just too "fussy". I must spend HOURS just to keep my black MB E500 clean. Love the car, but sometimes its just too much of a PITA...... Not having to constantly worry about everything would be something of a relief, but will I miss having a car? Decisions.......
Gotta go take another one for a looong test drive...... Wish a dealer were closer.

Wait til next month, thats when all the dealers will bargain the most. They will try to boost up their total sales numbers for the year. You should be able to get a 06 GX for about a thousand over invoice, or maybe even better.

Good Luck

JW, that sounds like a good deal to me b/c I got mine for $47,200 with the options that you listed.
Maybe you forgotten to mention the other little things like the chrome exhaust tip, floor mats, and the cargo net.

G man, I think he's getting it at invoice price.

Hes talking about a 05 and I am talking about a 06. I just visited another forum and some dealers out in Cali are selling 2006 GX at dealer invoice during their year end sale in Nov. My advise is that if he waited this long, he can wait another 2 or 3 weeks. Go for the 2006 GX and offer dealer invoice, you may get some takers.

Default Thanks to all. So far, I have a choice of an 05 or 06 as follows:

05- At "invoice" price. Sounds OK, but the trade on my MB E500 is much better. Invoice is said to be about $46000.
06- At $1000 over invoice, but with an iffy trade figure. Still being worked on. Price with Nav/3rd row seats, spoiler, tow prep and mats etc is $47,335.

Bottom line is that the '06 is only $1300 more-but if the trade stinks then I am back to square one. The problem is that MB trade values stink-No matter where I go I am getting trade numbers LESS than wholesale!

Maybe I should just wait till the "December to Remember" promo soon to arrive.......
