Bluetooth Sound Quality
I'm just wondering if this is normal... or if it's a problem with my car or with my phone..
I've got an '05 and I'm using a Sprint phone. Yes, I have all the other incompatibility issues that come with trying to use a Sprint phone (can't transfer phone book, 1-touch dialing #s are blank when I'm driving... etc.) I'm thinking of switching to Cingular. But so far I can make and receive calls with my phone. It's an LG PM-325.
So here's my question.. and maybe it does deal with compatibility...
When listening to a call in my car, the person talking sounds very muffled. It seems like it's all coming out of the driver door speaker. Again, very muffled. I find myself saying "excuse me?" constantly.
And when I'm talking, the person on the other end says it sounds like I'm in a tunnel.
Is this normal? Is this normal for hands-free? Or is it because I'm not using the "right" phone?

The sound is suppose to come out of the driver's door speaker, so that is normal. I find it is a bit hard to hear, but not bad. The only time I've had problems is when road noise gets too loud, like on some freeways. I have an SE-T637 with Cingular service. The phone is on the 'supported' list, so no complaints here.

There is some "tunnel" effect because it is a speaker phone, but I have never had any complaints from the other party regarding voice quality, if windows are closed and noise level inside is low (kids need to be a little quiet).
My driver's door speaker is very clear. If you have already checked with the phone on the other side, and if you are hearing the muffled sound from more than one person, you might want to get the car checked.
