A question...

How do you know H11? Is there a chart which tells the appropriate model number for the GX?

TIA, Louise

Squeege, XenonDepot asked which model car I had, GX470 and then told me the bulb H11, took him (Steve) at his word and it was a "FLAWLESS" installation. Basically plug and play.

Also, the two bulbs that shipped with the kit was labeled as H11 as well...

Hey What!,

Welcome aboard! Just contact Steve at XenonDepot and tell him you got hooked up via ClubLexus! He'll give you a discount pricing on the Xenon Kit!!!

www.xenondepot.com

Good luck!

PS. 4300K kit is brighter, & whiter, while the 6000K kit is slightly dimmer BUT it gives off the classic whitish/bluish tint that Xenon lamps are famous for...

yeah, i know some stuff about HIDs since i drive a 00 Acura TL w/ standard HID. i just don't know much about conversions.. since we have the projectors, when we put the HIDs in, is there that sharp cut-off line that we see in beemers, benz, and acuras (TL & RL) as well?

btw, can you guys give me a quick estimate on the price? my parents will be paying for it...

Cut off line is there and as far as the pricing goes, got mine two months ago for $519.00, you'll have to contact XenonDepot for an updated pricing...

I understand that the GX470 has H11 for low beam and 9005 for high beanm? If you want to have Xenon on both beams must one buy 2 kits?

Ive had Prolumen kit, McCullon kits on my e46 m3 (fog HID kit) THey worked flawlessly and much cheaper than the xenondepot priced phillips branded.

Am i missing something here?? THere are mnay kits offered by other brands and are installed on BMW or Merc as upgrades and only on this forum people are using xenondepot...
Im not trying to be rude or anyting but i really want the HID kit for my gx470 and i dont know what to do.
\

Also.. H1 is same as H11?? Isnt H11 Phillip's "code" for universal H1 bulb type??

Also an idea.... could i use LS or GS OEM kit??? that is if the price is right and if i can find it at the dealer....

Kormaster.....

ProLumen does not carry H11.

I have been using ProXenon 6500K for the last two years with no problems. At the time they were less expensive than XenonDepot and easier to install.

However, if I were to do it again, I would use 4300K. At this time, ProXenon does not carry 4300K and XenonDepot does. I also noticed that XenonDepot's prices are now lower than ProXenon.

Go with Xenon Depot and order the 4300K. Their price for the kit is $380.

The Xenon Depot kit is plug & play...no splicing of wires, so you can go back to stock at any time.

To answer a previous question, no you can not use a stock Lexus HID setup. Factory HID bulbs will not fit in the GX socket designed for an H11 bulb.

I've installed two XD kits (my GX and my father-in-laws GX) and I'd go with them again in a heartbeat.
