Front Door Over-Extension Issue, Window Bind
After climbing a peak in our local mountain range, we didn't realize how much wind speed there was at the top (tailwind). My bud unlatched the front passenger door, and it whipped open with fury. The limit rod stopped it, but something's not right. The full-open angle now appears to be perhaps 2-3 degrees greater than the driver's side, but there is no visible external damage. Door edge lines relative to the fender and other body panels is fine, and the closed fitment seems perfect. Hinges and adjacent sheetmetal appear undamaged. There does seem to be a bit of resistance in opening and closing travel, which I feel originates in the limit mechanism. It took a hard hit, so that's a reasonable assumption.
Later we noticed the window binds and stops about half way down with the door closed. Open the door, and the window descends all the way, but does seem to slow a bit in the lower range. No clicking or strange noises. I'm guessing the limit rod is "tweaked" somehow. Obviously, I need to pull the door panel and have a look. But I'd like to know what I might be up against going in. Any ideas?

I think you are on the right track with pulling the door panel off and taking a look... Taking the panel off is very easy. Then there is just a bunch of sound proofing / insulation in there, but thats as far as I have ever had to go...
My guess is you are right and the rid is probably pulled out a ways and bent preventing normal operation of the window.
