Well, its all installed and I'd have to take it all apart to get photos. I figured the one relay harness i got would connect to the light closest to battery, which is how it is. And thats the side the goes on intermittently. The side without a harness is fine.

Default Anyone Purchase their HID kit from DDM tuning?

Hey guys, I was looking into buying the HID kit from DDM tuning H11. As far I can tell it looks like a simple plug and play. Just wanted to know if anyone tried installing DDM as compared to Xenondepot.

Nope--Only xenondepot brand, I have been running 2 pair of HID's for 5-6 years and only replaced a bulb, its a solid kit--You cannot go wrong. Plus you have "Immediate Support" here on this forum if you ever need anything, Steve and crew will take care of you

@booyah & @mrblister - Thank you for the support and feedback!

@lex79 - The GX doesn't need a relay harness to prevent error codes, however if the ballasts you are planning on using have a high starting draw then you may run into issues with the lights not igniting. Xtreme HID kit ballasts are low-draw, so you can safely power them directly from the OE wiring without any issues.

Its sort of crazy that I bought some XenonDepot 10 years ago for my IS350 and you guys are still going strong here on CL. Same person too! Just got my 4300k Xtreme HID kit for lows and fogs, hope to install them soon.

I installed XD HID kit this weekend on my GX for the low beams. I'm not using the relay kit and was having issues getting the male OEM H11 plug to seat properly with the female XD H11 plug. I had to push them really hard to have the male/female plugs connect. Any tips on this? It's working now but I'm worried over time they might get loose. Thanks!

No they do not click into place. On the OEM female plug there's a rubber seal at the base, I still see part of it. I'm guessing this seal isn't letting me push the XD male plug all the way in.

I was running into that too. I figured it out though. There's only one way the light kit will plug in. Follow the directions exactly and the plugs will click into place.

I love the kit. I put mine in last week. I've properly adjusted the levels and can't believe the difference. As long as they hold up, I'll be happy. Thanks for the suggestion.

there is... but from testing the polarity on the OEM female plug and the +/- indication on the XD male plug, the correct way is to have the little nub on the XD male plug be on the opposite side of the clip on the OEM female plug. unless the XD ballast/igniter doesn't care about the polarity?
