GX470 H11 Xenondepot kit installed DIY guide
#736
Have had the XD kit installed into 07 for a week thus far. I used the relays (they are part of the kit, why not?) and so far no problems. I basically just followed the diagram for all the connections, was extra careful to ensure everything was seated correctly, and installed one side at a time. I grounded both sides to a single point drilled into the frame, using a star washer after dremeling away the paint.
I think the hardest part was removing all the plastic trim pieces and removing and re-installing the battery. (and resetting the windows per the earlier thread instructions)
Massive improvement in light output, highly recommended.

I installed my kit this weekend after having had purchased it back in July 07. I was able to use an existing ground on my 04. No drilling and I used the relay method with the battery in place.

I installed a 5K kit for low beam a few days ago, happy with the quality of parts and light performance. I did NOT use the relay kit, mine was hooked directly into the stock wiring harness, no issues, not sure if I'm missing out on more light output due to voltage drop.
